What to expect: If you have hand made rugs, they probably have some type of investment and sentimental value attached by the time they need to be cleaned. Expect them to be carefully handled by us.
We begin by taking the rug to our plant to have the rug turbo vacuumed so all soil particles are completely extracted, we do it again and again until we get the rug as thoroughly clear as humanly possible. Depending on the type of rug, colors, or fibers, we might have to change the next several steps. But normally, the rug is then pre sprayed and submerged into a pool of water where we being the antique washing process.
It is hand scrubbed, over and over again, we drain the water and scrub it some more with fresh water until it we achieve maximum results. It is then wrung out and hang dried which we then roll up and deliver to your door. This process usually takes 2-3 weeks but can be accelerated under certain conditions.
